Service overview
Eldris Website is a done-for-you website translation and migration service operated by EldrisAi OÜ. We migrate your existing site from Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow, BigCommerce, Wix or Squarespace onto Eldris-managed hosting, translate every page, product and blog post natively into your chosen EU languages, implement reciprocal hreflang and validate it in Google Search Console, and run the whole stack on an ongoing monthly basis. The service is sold in three tiers — Starter, Growth and Scale — at the prices published on /website-translation-pricing/. The published price is the price you pay; we do not negotiate quotes upward mid-build.
Activation
The activation fee is paid upfront on engagement, before any migration or translation work begins. It covers the scoped audit, the parallel migration onto Eldris-managed hosting, the translation of your agreed page count, post count and product count into the four core EU languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish) or the language set you have chosen, the implementation and validation of reciprocal hreflang on every page, and the initial DNS cutover to your live site. Activation is non-refundable except under the 14-day money-back guarantee — if we have failed to deliver the agreed scope inside the SLA window for your tier (10 working days Starter, 18 Growth, 28 Scale), we refund the activation fee in full on request. We do not run open-ended retainers and we do not pad activation with discovery calls you did not ask for.
Monthly management
Your monthly management fee starts the day your translated site goes live, not the day you sign the engagement. While the migration and translation are in progress, you pay activation only — there is no monthly fee accruing in the background. The monthly fee covers managed hosting on Cloudflare-backed infrastructure, automated SSL certificate renewal, security patches and platform updates, ongoing translation sync (new English content is translated and pushed to all language variants within the same week), GDPR cookie banner maintenance, hreflang validation, and the support tier matching your plan — 48 hours email response on Starter, 24 hours email plus chat on Growth, and a quarterly strategy call on Scale in addition to the 24-hour SLA. Monthly billing runs in advance on the same calendar date each month and continues until you cancel.
Cancellation
Cancellation runs on 30 days written notice to hello@website.eldris.ai. During the 30-day notice period, your site stays live and your monthly billing stops at the end of the notice. We hand back a clean static export of every page in every language plus a complete redirect mapping document so you can move to any host without losing your URL structure, your translated content or your search rankings. There is no platform lock-in, no exit fee and no transition charge — the handover work is included in the monthly fee you have already paid. We provide a 14-day transition window after the notice ends during which we answer DNS, hosting and migration questions for your new provider at no extra cost.
Scope and changes
The scope of every engagement is defined in writing in your activation quote. Scope includes the page count, blog post count, product count, language count and feature set we have agreed (lead capture forms, local SEO setup, custom design depth, e-commerce integrations). Pricing is per site, per language — every additional language is a full site clone at the same tier minus a 15 percent sibling-clone discount on both activation and monthly. Scope changes after activation are billed at the published rates: additional pages, posts or products beyond the tier limits are billed at our internal per-asset rates (£35 per page, £8 per post, £15 per product, applied to activation only); additional language clones are billed at the agreed tier minus the 15 percent sibling-clone discount. All scope changes are confirmed in writing before any work begins. We do not run mid-build scope creep without your explicit sign-off.
Translation quality
Every translation goes through a two-stage process — AI-drafted machine pre-translation handles roughly 70 to 80 percent of the work, and a native-speaker human reviewer living in the target market reads every page in context before it goes live. If you spot a translation error after launch, report it to hello@website.eldris.ai and we correct it inside 48 hours on Growth and Scale, or one week on Starter. Errors that materially affect revenue — a mistranslated product title, a broken checkout flow caused by a translated string, a legally incorrect compliance statement — are corrected on a same-day priority across every tier. We do not charge for error corrections. Translation memory is preserved across the engagement so the same string never gets retranslated differently twice.
Liability
Our total aggregate liability under any engagement is capped at the total fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including without limitation lost profits, lost business opportunities, loss of goodwill, data not under our hosting or backup, or the consequences of any third-party service interruption (DNS provider, payment processor, marketplace platform, courier). We carry professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the engagement size and we are happy to share the policy summary to clients on Growth and Scale on request. Nothing in this clause excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Estonian, UK or EU consumer law.
Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of all content on your site, including the original English content you supply us and every translated version we produce on your behalf. We hold no rights, no licence and no claim over your copy, your imagery, your brand or your translated text. The translation memory and brand glossary we build during the engagement are maintained for your benefit and are exported in full on cancellation. The platform infrastructure (the build system, the deployment scripts, the proprietary CMS layer) remains our intellectual property, but it does not contain your content — your content lives in clean, exportable form throughout the engagement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Estonian law, in line with the jurisdiction of EldrisAi OÜ as an Estonian-registered operator. Any dispute that arises is resolved by good-faith negotiation between us first — escalated to the founder personally before any formal action — and only failing that, by the competent courts of Estonia. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory consumer rights under UK or EU consumer protection law if you are engaging us as a consumer rather than as a business. EU and UK B2B clients enjoy the standard reverse-charge VAT treatment on invoices issued from our Estonian entity.
