How it works, in four steps.

Here is the whole job, in the order we do it. You approve the scope before any work starts, and your current site stays live until you approve the new one.

  1. Scan and agree the scope

    Scan your site above to see your tier and price. After activation we audit your pages, blog posts and products and agree the scope with you in writing.

  2. Migrate

    We rebuild your store on Eldris-managed hosting with your design, fonts, colours and product structure. Your current site stays live while we work.

  3. Translate and check

    Machine translation produces a first draft. Then a native speaker in the target market reads every page, product and blog post and corrects it before it goes live.

  4. Launch and keep in sync

    We add language tags (hreflang), check them in Google Search Console and switch over on a date you choose. After launch, new English content is translated in the same week.

Migration included

We move your pages, blog posts, products and redirects onto Eldris-managed hosting before we translate. Starter covers up to 5 pages, 25 blog posts and 10 products. Scale covers up to 25 pages, 200 blog posts and 75 products.

  1. A native speaker checks every page

    Every translated page is read by a native speaker who lives in the target market before it goes live. This is included on every tier, including Starter.

  2. Language tags (hreflang)

    Every page carries hreflang tags, so Google can show the German page to shoppers searching in German. We check the tags in Google Search Console.

  3. Hosting, SSL, cookie banner, privacy policy

    All four are part of the monthly fee. There is no separate hosting bill and no plugin to maintain.

  4. New content kept in sync

    Add a product or a blog post in English and we translate it and publish it in your other languages within the same week.

  5. You can leave with your site

    Cancel on 30 days' notice. You get a static export of every page in every language and a redirect map, with no exit fee. See the Terms.

    The legal representative that sellers based outside the EU must name on their products before selling there, under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). The UK has its own product rules; Eldris covers the UK as an additional market. Certificate and label address issued the same day.

    Registration with each country's producer register for packaging, electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries, with the authorised representative and the annual reporting included. Extended producer responsibility (EPR) is the duty to register and pay for recycling in every country where you sell.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?

Starter goes live in 10 working days from activation. Growth takes 14 to 18 working days and Scale 21 to 28 working days. If we have not delivered the agreed scope within 14 working days of activation (Starter), 18 working days (Growth) or 28 working days (Scale), we refund the activation fee in full on request.

What does a native-speaker check mean?

A native speaker who lives in the target market reads every translated page before it goes live. They correct tone, currency and date formats, and legal wording that a literal translation can get wrong.

What happens to my current site during the migration?

It stays live and keeps selling. We build the new version on a staging address. You review it and approve it, and we switch over on a date you choose.

Why not use Shopify's free app or a plugin such as Weglot?

Shopify's free Translate & Adapt app machine-translates up to two languages, and checking the result is left to you. Plugins such as Weglot are monthly subscriptions priced by word count and number of languages, and you keep running your own hosting. We do the translation, the native-speaker check and the hosting for one activation fee and one monthly fee. The comparison above lists what each provider publishes.

Do you work with Amazon sellers?

Yes. If your Amazon listings already sell in Germany, France, Italy or Spain, we translate your own store into the same languages.
